Beat Saber is the VR rhythm game most Quest owners already know by silhouette: two sabers, a tunnel of notes, and a track that asks your arms to keep time. Red and blue blocks tell you which hand and which swing. Walls make you duck. Bombs make you miss on purpose.

Beat Games shipped it on Quest at launch and has kept feeding it. The base game includes a large free soundtrack. Paid music packs and Shock Drops add artists from Metallica and Imagine Dragons to Coldplay, hip-hop mixtapes and seasonal drops. Solo play is the core; multiplayer is there if you want a shared room instead of a practice gym.
