We are delighted to have our first guest blogger at Stick to VR. VR Cricket Guy changed his web site recently and lost the power to blog. So now he wants to blog about the Meta Glasses he has been using. Over to you, VR Cricket Guy.

Over the last 4 years I have had the pleasure of playing VR games firstly on the Meta Quest 2 and now on the Meta Quest 3. As my name suggests, I mostly play VR Cricket (iB Cricket), but I have also enjoyed playing many other games. So what can I say about the Meta Ai glasses? Well, first of all, they fit me like a dream. I do like thick rimmed glasses. Bold, black and stylish. The set up was quick and easy (a must for me). No messing about, out of the box, QR code scanned and I was off and running.

I asked Meta Ai a selection of questions to test the speakers and the speed of response. The quality of the sound on these glasses is something I never expected. They are clear and directed into the ear perfectly. So I then tried to play music through the glasses and again, I was amazed by the playback quality.

The other major surprise for me was how the glasses are recharges. They area actually recharged using the glasses case itself! How do the designers come up with these amazing ideas. So, I just pop them in their case over night, and they are ready to go fully charged in the morning.

But the big question is “Would I Wear them in Public?”. Simple, yes. I already do. I’m very happy to wear them everywhere. I think that the ability to have a question answered by Meta Ai very quickly straight into your ear, is much better than having to get your phone out of your pocket and start typing.
